Our spring photo shoot at Pentney Abbey highlighted the beauty and versatility of the venue – an idyllic spot for an outdoor ceremony. We hope you’re as inspired by these beautiful images as we are.
At Pentney Abbey, you can have your ceremony inside or out, whether you love the idea of marrying in our magnificent Gatehouse or would like to say your vows in the great outdoors, with the Gatehouse and the beautiful Norfolk countryside in the background.
In March this year, we decided we’d like to style a photo shoot, showcasing just how glorious our outdoor ceremonies are. Some of our wonderfully talented suppliers joined us and, we hope you’ll agree, the end results are stunning.
Neutral colours were introduced to the rose garden at Pentney Abbey and we embraced a fairy tale theme, creating a wooden arch adorned with artificial flowers and a glamorous glass chandelier as a focal point for our happy couple to marry beneath.
Talented venue dressers covered the gravel pathway with a runner, creating an elegant aisle lined with hurricane lanterns. Two thrones at the registrar’s table made an impressive focal point.
Of course, no wedding would be complete without a happy couple and our shoot was no exception! Our model wore the perfect dress for a spring or summer wedding and carried a bouquet of stunning fresh blooms that co-ordinated with the venue flowers and the natural seasonal hues. Completing the pretty outdoor style, fresh flowers were also woven into her hair.
Meanwhile, our groom looked the part in a navy suit with a pale pink tie to match the ribbon in the bridal bouquet, and a classic pink rose buttonhole.
Of course, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to take some photographs in front of the magnificent gatehouse doors, just another of the fabulous photo opportunities here at Pentney Abbey.
